Blue Fairy Tales is an informative project part of the Ocean Education program of the Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission of UNESCO (IOC-UNESCO) as part of the United Nations Decade dedicated to Marine Sciences for Sustainable Development (2021-2030).
These are tales taken from scientific papers on Marine Sciences signed by Italian researchers who work all over the world.

All the stories have a single protagonist, Eu Sou, a genderless “asterisk” without affiliations. The stories, everyday and simple, aim to make the little ones passionate about scientific research and the sea.

The project was presented on March 8, 2022, with the reading of the first tale that took place during the event in Rome dedicated to Women of the Sea and the Ocean Generation.
