The second edition of the project saw the creation of a series of webinars led by IOC-UNESCO experts and dedicated to teachers and students from ten schools from Brazil, China, Italy, Mexico, Peru, Portugal, South Africa and the United Kingdom.
A challenge was also launched that invites students and teachers to freely interpret one of the ten challenges of the Decade of the Sea.
The projects will be selected by an international jury of “Sea Beyonders” and the winning school will be awarded on June 29, 2022, during the final ceremony in Ciência Viva – Lisbon, on the occasion of the United Nations Conference on the Ocean.
The project, supported by a percentage of the proceeds from the sales of the Prada Re-Nylon collection, underlines the Prada Group’s commitment to achieving the objectives of the United Nations Agenda 2030 and the Decade of the Sea.
