During the lockdown period, while waiting to be able to chat face to face again, we have set up a series of online appointments entitled Blue Aperitif. Un totem per l’oceano, a series of live chats dedicated to the Planet Ocean and its impact on our lives.

During this appointment we hosted Martina Capriotti, marine biologist and National Geographic Explorer, appointed SKY Ocean Rescue scholar in 2018, the only Italian of 3 researchers in Europe. She is currently a researcher at the Department of Marine Sciences at the University of Connecticut where she studies marine pollution from microplastics and chemical contaminants. What a pleasure to talk to her and discover her totem! Find out how biologist Martina Capriotti answered the ten questions of the format created by Anna Peregrini, Diana de Marsanich, and Marc Teynier with the contribution of Francesca Santoro.
