During the lockdown period, while waiting to be able to chat face to face again, we have set up a series of online appointments entitled Blue Aperitif. A totem for the ocean, a series of live chats dedicated to the Planet Ocean and its impact on our lives. The time is that of the aperitif and the guests are researchers, scientists, entrepreneurs, artists and citizens committed to safeguarding the sea. Each of them will tell their love for the ocean through a personal and symbolic object, the “totem”.
We inaugurated our Blue Aperitifs, live on our Instagram page, on the International Day of Women and Girls in Science and, for this reason, together with a very special guest: Arianna Mancuso, marine biologist and ecologist and National Geographic Explorer, who, accompanied by Diana de Marsanich, a green journalist, told us about her passion for the sea and how she managed to transform it into a job. Find out how biologist Arianna Mancuso answered the ten questions of the format created by Anna Peregrini, Diana de Marsanich, and Marc Teynier with the contribution of Francesca Santoro.
