Our ocean: so immense, so important! This is why it is one of the points of the Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda that the United Nations adopted in 2015 for a sustainable future, to be achieved by 2030.

There are 17 of them, and they are all linked to a sustainable life in the round: from eliminating hunger and poverty to reducing inequalities to gender equality, up to climate action.

Point 14, ‘Life below water’, has to do directly with the ocean, and in particular with the sustainability of the activities connected to it.
