January 1, 2021 officially marked the inauguration of the Decade of the Sea. To better prepare for the beginning of this decade, on December 17, 2020 we invited businesses, citizens and institutions to the presentation of the “Manifesto of the Mediterrenean Sea Decade: towards the ocean we need for the future we want”. The Manifesto aims to contribute to the creation of the Ocean Generation, a society fully aware of the importance of the ocean for our planet. Institutions, organizations, individuals and companies are encouraged to map out and give indications on how everyone can become an active part of the movement towards the Ocean Generation.

They accompanied us to discover the Manifesto:
Caterina Balivo, Godmother of the Ocean
Francesca Santoro, IOC-UNESCO program specialist
Diana de Marsanich, Green Journalist
Giovanni Parapini, Rai Director for Social Affairs
