Caterina Balivo<\/h3>\n

Godmother of the Ocean, TV face and digital influencer.<\/h5>\n
<\/div>\n

Active for years on environmental and sustainability issues, she was the first television presenter to bring green issues to an afternoon entertainment program. Caterina has chosen to renew her commitment, this time in favor of safeguarding the ocean and underwater wonders, alongside the Decade of the Sea, as Godmother of the Ocean. First Voice of the Manifesto of the Decade of the Sea, she is also on the jury of the Donna di Mare Award, the recognition for female figures committed to safeguarding the ocean.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Sergio M\u00fa\u00f1iz<\/h3>\n

Actor, singer, model.<\/h5>\n
<\/div>\n

Sergio comes from Bilbao, he is a passionate surfer and he dedicated his debut song \u201cLa Mar\u201d to the sea. With a verse by the Argentine poet Luis Borges, \u201cQuien es el mar, quien soy yo\u201d, he begins his show \u201cL\u2019onda che venire\u201d, in which he is an actor and director and which is inspired by the Decade of the Sea. As a devoted yogi, he knows it better than anyone else: \u201cnature\u201d is not something to be sought outside, but within ourselves.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Sara Lazzaro<\/h3>\n

Actress, composer and visual thinker.<\/h5>\n
<\/div>\n

Raised between Padua and Carmel by The Sea, California, the actress is one of the most beloved faces of the highly successful Rai1 television series \u201cDoc-Nelle tue mani\u201d, with more than 7 million viewers per episode. \u201cI bow to you, Mother Earth\u201d she wrote in a post in which she bows on the shore of the Pacific Ocean. Perhaps it is because of belonging, natural inclination or one of the roles she played as a freediver in \u201cL\u2019Aurora\u201d that Sara Lazzaro has become the Voice of our Manifesto.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Alessandro Vanoli<\/h3>\n

Historian and writer, specialized in Mediterranean history<\/h5>\n
<\/div>\n

In 2017 he wrote the theatrical reading \u201cWords and the Sea\u201d, performed with Lino Guanciale and Marco Morandi. Among his most recent books: \u201cThe Mediterranean in 20 Objects\u201d (2018, Laterza), \u201cAutumn\u201d (2020, Il Mulino), and \u201cThe Tales of the Return. Exercises in Life and Memory from Ulysses to Neil Armstrong\u201d (2021, Feltrinelli). \u201cWe must try to imagine that we are the sea and that we are literally the ocean. Because to be better, we need to be the sea\u201d.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Andrea Grieco<\/h3>\n

Activist, ethical influencer and sustainability strategist<\/h5>\n
<\/div>\n

Human and Environmental Sustainability, the only possibility we have to grow and develop today: this is the message of Andrea Grieco. They have defined him as an Ethical Influencer and a ChangeMaker of the 2030 Agenda.
Andrea Grieco has lived and worked in 9 countries and was chosen by the United Nations Foundation and the European Commission as a role model for young people for the implementation and communication of the 2030 Agenda. The goal: to generate change, which spreads like wildfire. Activist and sustainability strategist, he was a lobbyist for Amnesty International Italy and worked with the Hydrographic Institute of the Navy developing a project on the protection of the One Ocean and on the mapping and protection of the seabed.<\/p>\n

Attilio Fontana<\/h3>\n

Actor, singer, composer.<\/h5>\n
<\/div>\n

He was part of the Ragazzi Italiani, a famous boy band of the 90s. He is linked to the actress and writer Clizia Fornasier, with whom in 2016 he published the single \u201cTerra2\u201d, an ecologist song. They have two children: Blu, just like the sea they love so much, and Mercuzio. Attilio wrote a song that talks about the sea, \u201cUna divinit\u00e0 azzurra\u201d, but also about feelings and situations that change, like the surface of the water changes. It is called \u201cIl mare \u00e8 famosi\u201d, to remind us that the sea is inspiration, oxygen and new ideas.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Francesca Michielin<\/h3>\n

Multi-instrumentalist singer-songwriter<\/h5>\n

She is the face of Sky Nature and one of the voices of the Manifesto of the Decade of the Sea. She grew up in Bassano del Grappa, surrounded by nature, a privilege that allowed her to develop her imagination and her love for the environment. As the singer-songwriter herself explained: \u201cI have to go to the sea at least once a year. When I see it I stay there, for an hour playing dead, it\u2019s something that lightens me up. Like, obviously, playing music\u201d. For Michielin, the sea is \u201clightness\u201d, but also something she doesn\u2019t know and has always sought. As she sings, \u201cI don\u2019t live by the sea | but I can imagine it\u201d.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Andy (Andrea Fumagalli) \u2013 Bluvertigo<\/h3>\n

Singer and multi-instrumentalist, together with Morgan he founded Bluvertigo<\/h5>\n

He plays keyboards, vocoder, saxophone and synthesizer, he is also an artist and DJ. His headquarters in a former textile factory in Monza is a real \u201cFactory\u201d, with a recording studio and an atelier of his works inspired by pop art. He is alongside the Decade of the Sea to bring awareness also to the rhythm of music and DJ sets inspired by the sounds of the 80s and the sounds of the sea depths. He has made the Generation Ocean\u2019s claim his own: \u201cI am Ocean, We are Ocean\u201d.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Remo Anzovino<\/h3>\n

Composer and pianist<\/h5>\n

On October 7, 2013, he received the Anima Award \u201cFor the growth of an ethical conscience \u2013 music section\u201d, for his composition \u201cOctober 9, 1963 (Suite for Vajont)\u201d, in memory of the Vajont tragedy. In October 2020, he composed the music for the campaign Towards the Ocean Generation #Noisiamooceano of the Decade of the Sea. On November 5, 2021, he released the album \u201cNapoleon. In the name of art\u201d, an original soundtrack composed and directed by Anzovino for the film event \u201cNapoleone in nome dell\u2019arte\u201d, with Oscar winner Jeremy Irons.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
