Ocean Education

Ocean Education is one of the missions of the Decade of the Sea to make everyone understand the value of the ocean. As a Decade, we are constantly looking for communicators to help us, but we do not intend to leave anyone alone. For this reason, IOC-UNESCO has created ad hoc trainings for citizens, teachers and educators, journalists and policy makers.

The Ocean Education trainings are developed by IOC-UNESCO and aimed at education professionals, journalists and media, and government officials. The trainings are hosted on the IOC-UNESCO training platform, the Ocean Teacher Global Academy, and include lectures, case studies, video messages from guest speakers, activities, quizzes and online forums, as well as recorded webinars.
